Cute Baby

I have the best time dressing her up when we go out. Isn't she just too cute!!!

Worn Out

As you can tell by the pictures, Kaylee had a big day Sunday. We woke up early and went to the Pancake House for breakfast before heading off to church, Kaylee went in the nursery for the first time with all her little friends...she was too busy in there to take a nap. After church we headed to lunch at Nana and Papa's for a late Father's day get together. After lunch, we hurried home so John's parents could come by and hang out with Kaylee for a little while. She had such a fun day visiting with everyone that she didn't even take a nap. By the time everyone had left Kaylee was exausted, she fell asleep at 6:30 and I couldn't even wake her up to bathe her. She even stayed asleep while I changed her into her pajamas...poor baby!! The pictures are her sleeping on this big bean-bag chair we have...she looked so comfy!!

3 Month's Old

Our sweet little Kaylee was 3 month's old yesterday. Hard to believe. I think each month is getting more and more fun. Kaylee got to do a lot of fun things during her third month. We stayed at Mac Daddy and Mami's for a week ad Kaylee got to swim for the first time, which she really enjoyed. Once she gets a little bigger she will probably be swimming all the time. Kaylee is also smiling a lot now, she will smile at her toys and anyone who talks to her. She is happiest when she first wakes up. Kaylee is still not sleeping all night. For one week she slept 8 hours every night, now she is only doing about 5-6, I'm not sure what happened. Kaylee also got to go to Dave and Busters last weekend..we weren't sure how she would do since it is so loud in there, but she seemed to have a really good time looking at all the lights on all the games. Kaylee has been holding her head up much better and she loves to stand up when you are holding her. She has been to many new resturants this month also. I can't believe how fast she is growing up and changing. She gets a bottle of White Grape juice every day now and she really enjoys that. In a few weeks we will be starting her on solids. I can't wait to see what foods she enjoys eating (I don't think there will be much she turns down haha). Here are some pictures from month three.Happy babyLook at my cute outfit Tummy Time
Kaylee was more interested in eating her fist than playing with her toys..hahaAll bundled up after bath timeKaylee and her monkey-John's little brother won this monkey for me at Dave and Buster's a few years ago. Kaylee loves laying on it.

"Mami's Monkey"

Like I said in my previous posts, my mom, dad, the boy's and the Principe's (and everyone's boyfriend's and girlfriend's) are at the lakehouse this week. This has been the longest that my mom has been away from Kaylee since she has been born..so she is really missing her. Kaylee and I decided to have a little photo shoot last night so we could post some pictures for Mami of "her little monkey". Hope you guys are having a great time and we can't wait to see all the pictures.Hurry back Mami...I miss you!!

Father's Day

This year was a little different for me since I didn't spend Father's day with my dad since they were already gone to the lakehouse. It was probably the first Father's day ever that we didn't meet up with Nana and Papa after church for a family get together. Just wanted to say that I have the best Dad ever and I love him very much. This was John's first Father's day and we had his parent's over to my mom and dad's and he got to use his smoker for the first time. He smoked ribs and pulled pork. It was delicious and I really appreciated him getting up in the middle of the night and starting the cooking so we could have a great meal on Father's day. We pretty much just hung out by the pool all day and swam even though it was raining :) Kaylee is so lucky to have a daddy that loves her so much!!

Kaylee goes Swimming!!!

This week we are staying at my mom and dad's house with the dogs while they are at the lakehouse. We thought this would be a good opportunity to try Kaylee in the pool. We got in the pool Saturday night and she really enjoyed kicking her legs and hanging out in her float, but it was very bright outside so she was getting a little frusterated that she couldn't open her eyes. We only stayed in long enough to get a few pictures but we did put her back in the pool yesterday when it was overcast and not so bright. She liked it much better then and we stayed in for about 30 minutes. Here are some pictures from Saturday's swimming, I will try to get some better ones this week.

New Toy

A few nights ago I pulled out one of Kaylee's toys she got from my baby shower from the Saad's. It is a really neat toy, it lights up and plays music and has a big mirror on it. You can either lay the baby on their back and they can look up at the lights or you can flip it over and they can do "Tummy Time" with it....anyways, Kaylee absolutely loves her new toy....she will lay under it and talk to herself in the mirror and she will hit at the little animals to make the music turn on. It's so cute. Thanks to the Saad's for this great toy. Kaylee is really enjoying it :)
She is so fascinated by the light and music"Mom, I'm trying to play"She loves looking at herself in the mirrorWe need to work a little more on Tummy Time...shes not so great at getting her hear up yet lol...at least she tries!!

The Landing

Saturday we went to the Landing to see some big boats that were in town for a poker run. I was amazed by the size of these boats and how nicely they were painted. My favorite was the Ferrari boat....Mommy and Kaylee looking at the boatsThe Ferrari boat was my favorite!!!

Visit with Brendan

This past week Kristin and Brendan came in town for his birthday. He turned 1 year old on May 25th. It seems like he was just born yesterday. We didn't get to go to his birthday party since Kaylee had not yet had her shots and she couldn't be around a bunch of kids, so Thursday night they came to my mom and dad's house and he got to meet Kaylee and we gave him his presents. I wish they lived closer so that Kaylee and Brendan could play when she gets a little older...but we will have to make sure they make plenty of visits so they can be great buddies :)
