Orlando Trip

This past weekend John and I headed to Orlando with his mom and little brother for a mimi-vacation and we had SO much fun. We left Kaylee with my mom and dad (thanks guys for keeping her all weekend..I know she had a blast). We headed down Friday night after John got home from work and we got there about 7:30. We dropped out stuff off at the hotel and me and him headed to downtown disney to walk around and hang out. Saturday we got up early and headed to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure..since we stayed in a Universal Hotel we got a fast pass to ride all the rides, so we didn't have to wait on anything...it was so great!! After the parks we headed to the hotel to get cleaned up and John and I headed to city walk for a nice dinner by ourselves. We had so much fun and wished we could have stayed longer although we really missed Kaylee. We are hoping to take her to Disney when it cools off. I didn't take my camera to the parks so these are the only pictures I got of our trip!! John and his little brother Caleb

1st Popsicle

A few days ago Kaylee enjoyed her first popsicle..well only a few little bites, but she really liked it. John came home from work and I was telling him that she was a litle fussy because of her teeth and he thought it would be fun to see if a popsicle would help. (He always likes to give her foods that mommy won't) She loves lemons so we gave her a lemon popsicle..she didn't care for it at first becausei was so cold, but once she realized that it tasted good she didn't even care. She would have probably ate the whole thing but I had to take it away because her lips were turning red from the cold. It was so cute!! No daddy it's mine!!!

6 months old

I can't believe that our little princess is already 6 MONTHS OLD!!! I know I say this every month but it is going by way to fast. She has changed so much since we brough her home from the hospital. She is doing so many things and she is just so much fun. She is now working on getting her 3rd tooth (this one seems a little harder for her than the first two). She rolls all over the place now, she can sit up by herself, and she is always smiling. She has been trying out many new foods and doesn't really turn anything down. She loves playing with the babies I keep during the week and she especially loves Wednesdays when Mami comes to pick her up for the day and they go shopping. She likes to be outside and she loves to go on walks every night. She is great about riding in her stroller and we love taking her places. She is starting to really like her toys a lot more now so I know Christmas is going to be a lot of fun. This has been another great month and we are hoping for some more big milestones (crawling) next month. Here are just a few pictures from this month. I have been slacking a little on the picures lately. I went to feed her and she grabbed the bottle and put it in her mouth...I guess I wasn't fast enough for her.

Sitting Up

I am a little behind on my posting but I had to share that last week Kaylee started sitting up on her own. She had been sitting for a minute or two before she would fall over, but last week I sat her up and put some toys in front of her and she sat for 45 minutes before falling and she has been doing it ever since. She loves to sit up and play and see things at a different level. It is nice to be able to just sit her down now and go do whatever. She is just growing up to fast. Here are the picures. New Chair

The other day we went to Babies-R-Us for their closing sale and found this very handy new chair for Kaylee. We have been wanting one for a while but hadn't got around to going to get it...boy am I glad we got it. It has made trips so easy. The chair can go in the shopping cart, a highchair, or even a regular chair from home. Kayle loves riding in the cart and sitting in the highchair at resturants...she is getting to be such a big girl!! You can tell in the pictures she is so proud of herself. HAHA
So happy to be a big girl!!Sitting in the shopping cart in walmart...she LOVES it!!!

Sick Baby

Kaylee has had a bad cold since Monday night...she was fine during the day on Monday then during the afternoon she got really fussy and by bedtime she was all stopped up and coughing and had a fever. I gave her some tylenol and put her to bed and she kept waking up so John stayed up with her intil 12:30 then I came downstairs and sat on the couch with her for the rest of the night. The only way she could breathe was sitting up. All day Tuesday she was fussy so Tuesday when John got home I went and got her some Motrin..that seemed to help her a lot because I propped her up on a pillow in her pack-n-play in our room and she slept all night. She seemed to be doing a little better yesterday so my mom came and got her for the day. She did fine all day but last night got stopped up again and was really fussy..she has more Motrin and slept all night again and she woke up happy this morning. Please keep her in your prayers..hopefully she is on the upside and will be better very soon. I hate seeing her so miserable :(

Puffs and Sippy Cups

Since Kaylee has a tooth now we decided to try giving her puffs and she loves them...I bought the blueberry ones to begin with since she loves blueberry baby food and once we realized she liked them we went back and got all the different flavors. So far the sweet potatoe ones are her favorite..Imagine that haha!! She is also doing really good with her sippy cup she knows exactly what to do with it it when I give it to her. She seems so much more grown up now eating big girl food and drinking from a sipy cup!!

Kaylee is so happyto be a big girlPuffsChoking on her juice...she does that every time!!!

Meet the Kids

As many of you probably already know I quit my job a few weeks and now I am staying home with Kaylee. It has been so great and I love spending the days with her. My mom is very sad that she dpesn't get to see her everyday, but I told her that she can come get her whenever she wants, and she has been :) To make a little extra money I am running a little daycare in my home and so far it is going great. I have two kids so far and am thinking about adding a third one. I am only keeping babies around Kaylee's age so I can keep them on somewhat of the same schedule.

Jade just turned 4 months old and is such a happy baby she comes every day and she is so good. She is always smiling and she loves to take naps in the swing..sometimes I have to wake her up because if not she would sleep in there all day.

Davien just turned 3 months and is such a quiet little guy. He is very laid back and only fusses when he is hungry. He is very easily entertained and you can put him down anywhere. Davie also likes to swing so I had to get another swing so him and Jade could both be in the swing at the same time.

We are having so much fun during the weeks and Kaylee is doing great with the other kids...I am sure they will all become great buddies when they get more mobile :)

Visit with Aunt Lorriane and Uncle Larry

Kristin and Brendan were in town a few weeks ago so we all headed to Aunt Lorriane and Uncle Larry's in Orange Park for a visit. We had a great time chatting and eatting pizza. It was Me and Kaylee, my mom, Aunt Lori and Ashlyn, and Kristin and Brendan. We don't get to visit them as often as we would like but we always have a great time when we do. Here are some picures from our visit.

Gator Game

Two weekends ago we headed to Gainsville for the Gators first game of the season against Hawaii. It was Me and John, my parents and brothers, the Principe family, the Tafaoa family and T's brother and Bruce Collier and his dad. We had the best time and are so grateful that my parents bought the tickets for us. The gators won so that made it even better of course!! We love football season and are so excited that it is finally here. I only got a few pictures..I wish I would have got one of Kaylee dressed in her gator attire :) (She stayed with John's parents because we thought it would be too hot for her) I'll have to dress her back and do a photo shoot.
