Daddy and the Claw Machine

Every weekend we go to Walmart to grocery shop and on the way out John always stops at the claw machine to win stuffed animals for Kaylee...this particular walmart has really good prizes in it and he usually wins two or three each weekend. I told him we are going to have to have a whole room for just her for her animals when we move...they are starting to take over her nursery!! She gets so excited when he gives them to her..haha..I think this is the only reason they like to come to Walmart with me!!

Accident

Just wanted to say a quick thanks for all the prayers, calls and texts Sunday after John's accident. They were greatly appreciated. For those of you who don't know John was supposed to leave Sunday to go to Minnesota for two weeks for a work trip...he was on his way to the airport Sunday morning and his car hit a slick spot on the road coming off an exit ramp and his truck flipped and was totalled. Thank God he was not hurt too badly, he thinks he may have a broken rib and he has some bruises and scratches on his head where he hit the roof of the car but other than that he is just really sore. He was so fortunate to not have been badly injured. He ended up missing his flight and all the later flights were booked up due to the Florida/Georgia game so he didn't end up going to Minnesota. He will probably not be going now until January...when it's REALLY REALLY cold!!!

Halloween

Kaylee had so much fun on her first Halloween, she was a monkey and she was so cute. John picked her outfit and I have to admit I didn't love it at first, but once I got it on her it was so adorableand perfect for the weather. We headed out to church Halloween night and had a blast, there was lots of good food and candy and everyone's costumes looked so good. We had so much fun hanging out with family and catching up with friends. The weather was a little chilly so we kept Kaylee bundled up really good, but she seemed to have a lot of fun...she didn't fuss at all. There wasn't much we could do with her except walk around since the activities were mostly for older kids..but she didn't mind. She got to have her first taste of cotton candythanks to Mac Daddy...he went to give her a little bite and she grabbed the whole stick from him..she loved it. Is melted all over her and she was a sticky mess but she was happy!! We had so much fun and can't wait for the upcoming holiday season. Here are some pictures of her in her costume. My mom has a few more good ones on her camera that I will add later. Daddy and Kaylee getting ready to head to church!!
